Poly-Texx® P25 is a proprietary filled PTFE composite bearing material. It is self-lubricating and has very low friction. Common appolications include thrust washers, bearings and bushings on industrial machinery and conveying systems. The filler can be abrasive to soft mating surfaces/shafting, therefore it is recommended that they should be at 32 Rockwell or harder. The combination of excellent bearing properties, self-lubrication and compression strength makes Poly-Texx® P25 a great choice for many demanding bearing applications.

Poly-Texx® P25 is off white in color and is available in sheet, rod and tubing. It is easily machined with conventional metal working equipment. Long running jobs should utilize carbide tooling to extend tool life. Close tolerances can be achieved to +/-.001″ with experience.
