Poly-Texx® HPV

Poly-Texx HPV

Poly-Texx® HPV is a self-lubricating Bearing Grade Composite used in high load/low speed service.  Typical applications include sleeve and flanged bearings for railroad safety appliance and rail service equipment.  Bushings and slide plates for railroad service vehicle, and timber handling industry.  Also proven to be successful as knuckle and pivot bearings for mining and off-road vehicle applications.

Poly-Texx® HPV is an unfilled version with an outstanding ability to handle high loads under vibration.  Its ultimate compressive strength (P) exceeds 40,000 PSI. Poly-Texx HPV is capable of a low-load velocity (V) of up to 15 SFM. Its overall PV rating is 20,000.  The combination of excellent bearing and wear properties, self-lubrication and low cost makes Poly-Texx® HPV a great choice for many demanding high load and vibration type applications.
